I’ve tried personal references, the computer, want-ads, etc. I’m not that picky, just know what it is I don’t want. I want someone who’s employed, has good health, can take of himself, can look after himself, has a sense of self and a good sense of humor. I *think* I may have more issues now than when I was younger. Any suggestions? I’m tired of doing everything by myself, including watching TV.

So is it wierd to fall for someone after only talking to them online a few times? Me and this guy have been talking for only a few weeks and I feel like we have know each other for years. I know this happens in person, but online? Now I have never done the whole online dating thing…. so should I pursue it or just leave it as is?

My widowed sister goes to the internet occasionally to get dates. Her computer in in the shop getting worked on so she came over to my house to use mine to look at some of the sites she frequents and check her emails. While she was scrolling through some of the free sites she likes to look at I noticed something about the pictures of some of the men on there. The ones who were looking for other men (they were gay or bi) seem to suggest that these men take better care of themselves… no beer bellys and lots of these guys look like they actually might workout at a gym or something. There were a few sloppy looking guys but over all the percentage of the ones who look like they take care of the way they look was higher in the gay or bi pics.

The men who were looking for dates with women had a higher percentage of sloppy, beer bellied guys… Why is that?????
