My boyfriend and I have the best relationship! Him and his ex just got divorced about 2 months ago. The only thing that is wrong is I have caught him on the computer looking up his ex wife’s internet dating e-mails. He says he is doing it because of his kids who are 11 and 13. He doesn’t want some strange man coming around when she does hook up. He also tells me that he can’t wait for her to meet someone and that he’s not doing it beacause he cares about her. Can someone give me an opinion-is this weird?

Lately I have been thinking about setting up an online dating profile…but I feel like that might make me seem desperate. I know that it is more acceptable now than it was in the past but I am still not sure.

I am 23, attractive, educated, fun, ect…I am just running out of ways to meet new people. Most of my friends are married or in relationships and I just got out of a relationship with the person I was going to spend the rest of my life with.

Any advise…good/bad experiences???

my husband has become a cybersex addict and not paying much attention to me so I was at my witts end about his addiction so I put a watchdog program on the computer blocking all porn, dating, chats.. etc. I did this last week and he hasn’t said anything but he has been at least off the computer and well…. our sex life is getting better… I feel bad though that I had to go to the extreme of treating him like a child. Was I wrong? Should I slowly take away the block. I can change the levels. I was to the point though that it was either the computer or me. I love my husband with all my heart but am tired of competing with a computer..

Paramore — I have the parental controls on both the computers in the house but on the one my husband never uses I allowed myspace for my son.. my son is the only one that knows that computer has less of a block on it but porn and stuff still can’t be looked at.
Thank you everyone.. I guess I needed reassurance I was doing the right thing. I love him so much and I know he loves me but it is an addiction and I wouldn’t leave him because he was a drinker ( which he isn’t) so I just have to work with him on it.
yes Mike I still treat him with respect.. he is not a bad man he is just doing bad things… well making bad choices I guess is the best way to put it.
My son’s myspace is monitored .. I have all the passwords and have his privacy on the highest levels. He is only allowed on myspace with my permission .

not only have I seen cute girls on dating websites such as plenty of fish but i’ve actually seen a girl on a computer get on some dating website. She wasn’t fat and she was decent looking. I’ve heard of some good looking girls say they went online because their real picky. I know of a good looking guy that met my relative on a dating website.
guys are always after girls…they are usually the hunters so to speak
