Well i have just recently moved here to Pine Bluffs, Wy. I have myspace and was looking to see who I could find on myspace and I found this guy he is in the Military he wants to meet me. He seems like a nice sweet guy. I am very shy in person. Does any one have any advice where to meet this guy at or what to do or what to talk about. I have never been offically on a date so I don’t know about this stuff. And yes I am 18.

Okay, I’m not talking about someone who is socially awkward or anything. I mean someone who is kinda shy, yet works out and has a six pack, who also loves computer programming. Is that too geeky?

Oh and one of the questions was are you married and he put in other. Heck I would date him if his profile was really as wonderful as he claimed. We have been dating for a year and a half, and my boyfriend occassionally chats with his ex online when they both are on. He said he wont avoid her cause they are friends, and he also said he would stop if it bothered me, but I found out he didnt and continues to talk to her once in awhile. I was going through our computer and organizing all of our files and I stumbled upon some Files about Doubling your dating ( David De’Angelo book files) and it kind of shocked me. I mean I know that before we got married he used to be a MAN SLUT, but READING BOOKS about it??? This might be a dumb question to some of you but, What do you guys think about this? I was married for 20 years and became widowed 4 year ago. I have not dated in 25 years. Dating and all these on line sites are all new to me. The other day I found an email on my boyfried’s computer responding to a message from another women. When I asked him about it he said he met her on this porn/dating site, which he is a paying member. (He does not own a webcam.) He said he uses this site for entertainment purposes only and never intended to meet this women or any one else in person. I don’t mind him looking at these sites, (I don’t think it is any different than watched a porn dvd) but I am not comfortable with him contacting, emailing or IM, other women. I have talked to him about this and he assures me that there is nothing to worry about. He thinks I am makeing to much of this. He did go in and changed his profile to read that he is in a commited relationship and is only looking for online flirting. Am I behind the times? Is this an acceptable thing in today’s dating world?

I have been emailing this guy and we have been going back and forth and we seem to hit it off. I’m only on the computer during my work hours and I let the other person know this but I add that I hope to hear from them. Is it okay to email again the next morning or since I wrote the last email the night before that the ball is really in their park and its up to them to respond?
