I am single and don’t plan to date just yet because I am getting over someone but I was thinking of online dating, I refuse to date someone I meet in a bar/club and was wondering if any of you had success stories to share with me and if you could recommend a good site.

I’m 18 and haven’t had a decent boyfriend in a long time. I want so badly to be in love and have a good guy. But I’m stuck in an area with good-for-nothing jerks. I know the "one" will find me one day but I’m so tired of waiting. I’m a little lonely and slightly desperate. I know i sound a little pathetic, but I want a guy bad. I was wondering if it would be bad if i tried online dating at 18yrs old?

I am new to online dating and have recently joined a dating site. I have a ton of beautiful women stopping by to check my profile but they do not leave a reply or message. What gives, are they just window shopping? My online etiquette may be wrong, should I follow up with each profile that checks me out?

I need to come up with a good screen name for my profiles on online dating sites. I was thinking some variation of funinthesunman, or perhaps something that shows I’m serious and mature. Any ideas?

I know there are 13 and 14 year old girls trying to find dates online,but most of the sites are for 18 and up.And I was like,"What the heck are they doing?Are they trying to get in trouble with the police and trying to get rapped by some dudes they met online?" I’m worried about those girls,but isn’t there like a site for those girls to find the perfect match other then Eharmony and match and stuff.Shouldn’t they be using those instead,if there are any?

My mom keeps making profiles on online dating sites and my dad is getting angry. I already tried some programs to block her, but she keeps uninstalling them. Does anyone know anything I could put on that she couldn’t remove. Also, if it would allow me to specifically specify the sites to block like Match.com, EHarmony, Fling.com, etc. Thanks.

I notice that divorced people usually start internet dating after a while, why? Do they think that it’s easier finding someone online instead of face to face?

I just don’t want people look at me in way that says " wow, so you did it the easy way of getting a girl." I don’t go out much to bars or clubs so I thought I give this online dating thing a try and to tell you the truth I am happy to have met this girl.
