If you date your computer, it probably won’t retain your interest for very long; the batteries will eventually run out or it will be too heavy to take with you to the movies.
But seriously, I have family and friends who have done the online dating thing with some success. No marriages though.

Personally, I don’t think it can ever be 100% safe…. even non-computer dating is never 100% safe… but i guess the safest choice is the kinda of internet ones that have like the pictures and descriptions and then you meet somewhere in real life.

It’s never safe. Thay can easily get your PC’s IP adress, or they can get your E-mail, and use it to find out from what place you used it the last time. Not safe, so don’t risk.
Perhaps I have a friend who met her now husband at a AOL dating site and another person I know who thought she met her dream man and was planning to be together and it turned out bad. I guess with any site you just have to be careful, be very "on your toes" and don’t fall for anything to quick.

no it’s not. you never know who’s on the other end. you might think it’s a teen, and it’s really not. a lot of girls go missing every year this way. not many of them ever come home again.

its not a good idea at all. i tried it 2 times…its nice at first, but u get tired of seeing them as a computer screen. and meeting in real life is not safe. but u always have to question stuff like "how do i knw this is really them?" or "how do i know he cares?" and so many other questions. even if it was safe, its still a pain in the butt.
