I am dating a guy and it’s getting pretty serious. He’s recently divorced. I have not been able to get over the stupid need to see what his X-wife looks like. Since day 1, I just really really wanted to know if she was prettier than me or not. I know it’s stupid. So I was on his computer and I went through his photo albums to see a bunch of photos of his X. Now I’m feeling guilty for snooping. Was this wrong to do? It’s not like I was going to ask him to see a pic of her.
It is human nature. You were on his computer and these photos fell into your lap. You deserve credit for being honest in expressing your feelings above. Move on.

Okay now to my answer…
I do think it was wrong, but not all that bad. Honesty is one of the most important things within a relationship, and I really truly think that you should come clean to him and tell him what you have done. At that moment, to express how badly you feel, let him know that from that point on, you and him will be completely honest with each other. As for the whole "prettier" thing, I understand why you were curious, but I obviously she wasnt pretty enough for him to stay with here…unless she broke up with him! (Uh Oh!) Dont worry about his past, worry about your future TOGETHER.
Come clean, you will feel much better. Im sure he will be glad that you cam clean as well.
